Airbus A380 1:1 Mockup Media technology

cscope was com­mis­sio­ned, whilst the A380 was still in the deve­lo­p­ment stage, to equip a 1:1 “demons­tra­ti­on model” of the A380 with com­plex media tech­no­lo­gy, in order to give pre­mi­um pro­s­pec­ti­ve cus­to­mers a “sen­se of fly­ing” even befo­re the mai­den flight.

To ensu­re the cor­rect per­spec­ti­ve in the depic­tion of simu­la­ted day and night flight sce­nes in the win­dow­less lounge area of the world’s lar­gest com­mer­cial air­craft, a com­plex media ser­ver for video-on-demand appli­ca­ti­ons was desi­gned and sup­pli­ed. In addi­ti­on, all media (films and ani­ma­ti­ons) illus­t­ra­ting various ope­ra­tio­nal sta­tes were pro­du­ced by cscope. Ope­ra­ti­on is car­ri­ed out via user inter­faces new­ly deve­lo­ped by us on ele­gant touch­screens inte­gra­ted into the cabin walls, enab­ling cabin crew to con­trol light­ing, air con­di­tio­ning, etc.
